CONWAY — Great ice cream scooped up with social consciousness is being served by the community-minded new owners of the Trails End Ice Cream Shop across from the state Scenic Vista in Intervale.

Purchased this past spring by Nancy and Rob Clark of Bartlett, and managed by their son Reid, 24, the shop is open daily from noon-9 p.m. through Columbus Day weekend. Son Camden, 21, also is helping out. Their 11-year-old son Beckett is the official “flavor tester."
