Obituary: Beth McKenzie

Beth McKenzie, 91, of West Milan, N.H., passed away on Sunday Oct. 28, 2018, at her home.

She was born in Bean’s Purchase, N.H., on June 20, 1927, the daughter of Alva and Mildred (Everett) Richardson, and lived most of her life in Berlin, N.H. She has resided in West Milan since 1979 and had been employed by Granite State Rubber Company for 14 years. Beth was the first white child born under the realm of the White Mountain National Forest in the Town of Bean’s Purchase Wild River Valley and had a brook named after her on the York Pond Road, Betty’s Brook, to commemorate her being born in the White Mountain National Forest.
