Concept Group conSulting firm to aid restaurateurs

R. Ben Williams of Keasarge founded Horsefeathers in September 1976 with his then business partner, Brian Glynn. Glynn sold his shares in the restaurant to David Peterson approximately two years ago, and Williams sold his shares to Peterson earlier this summer.Williams has a Web site, www.hihowaya.com, in which he says he is taking some time off this summer and will then launch his restaurant consulting business. As a founder of one of New England's most popular restaurants, I've been lucky enough to last in the same location for over 32 years. During this time my partners and I were able to open several more successful restaurants, and other hospitality businesses including a boutique inn, a scoop shop, pizza operations as well as founding and editing our state trade newspaper, New Hampshire Hospitality News, says Williams.I'm taking some time off but plan to get busy again in the fall. Have a restaurant you want some help with? Call me at (603) 662-7557, says Williams. The business will be known as the Concept Group.Horsefeathers was named recipient of the Mountain Ear newspaper's Ear of the Year award in December 1977 for its community spirit a hallmark of the business during Glynn and Williams' ownership.Over the years, Horsefeathers along with such like-minded businesses as The Mountain Ear and the old Country Squire Real Estate supported such events as the old Spring Shampagne Stampede, the Winterfest Winter Carnival, and the White Mountains Jazz and Blues Fest.
