BROWNFIELD — Acclaimed bassist, vocalist, and songwriter Shelby Means takes the stage at the beloved Stone Mountain Arts Center on Friday, April 3, for an unforgettable night of roots music in one of New England’s most intimate listening rooms.
Known for her warm, expressive voice and rock-solid bass playing, Shelby Means has earned a reputation as one of the most compelling artists in modern bluegrass and Americana. Means spent a dozen years in Nashville, Tenn. During that time, she performed most notably as a member of the Grammy nominated all-women bluegrass band Della Mae. She later joined Molly Tuttle & Golden Highway on bass and vocals, earning her first Grammy win for their 2023 album, City of Gold. Means has toured extensively around the globe, captivating audiences with her blend of tradition, originality, and heartfelt storytelling.
