What happens when you put two talented chefs together over a beer or two on a Sunday afternoon? Crazy ideas are conjured up of collaborative cooking, thats what. Add to that some natural flair for preparing authentic Mexican cuisine, together with 15 years of skills and experience honed in prestigious kitchens in New York and Connecticut, and you have the perfect recipe for a Cinco de Mayo Fiesta! Monday May 5,, Fryeburgs Jonathan Spak, executive chef and co-owner of the Oxford House Inn, and guest chef Derrek Schlottmann from the Admiral Peary House, will be firing up a fiesta of fine-dining, making their magic and having a fun-filled time in the Oxford House Inns kitchen. The fantastic collaborative menu features regional Mexican cuisine in a choice of three appetizers, five entrees and three desserts, all reasonably priced between $6 and $20. Of course, a great Mexican meal wouldnt be complete without a margarita or two and guests wont be disappointed by the scrumptious selection of specialty drinks on offer that night, including a pear and ginger margarita and an unusual, but delicious peach and jalapeno martini.
