PACE GALLERIES ART TALK

FRYEBURG – Local painters Erik Koeppel and Lauren Sansaricq will be walking guests through their current exhibition, Recovering the American Sublime, at the Pace Galleries of Art on Saturday, June 17th at 2:00 pm. In this exhibition, the paintings of Koeppel and Sansaricq are displayed in conjunction with 19th Century landscape paintings of the White Mountains. During the June 17th event, the two artists will share the stories behind the artwork, examine 19th Century American landscape painting methods, and discuss their contemporary response to that movement, and its relevance today. Admission is free.
