CONWAY — Have we ever seen a stretch of 50 Centah, top-of-the chart daily weather ratings quite like we've had over the past two weeks?

As of Friday, according to local weather observer Ed Bergeron, who carries on the daily tradition first started by legendary Appalachian Mountain Club huts manager Joe Dodge of rating the weather in nickel increments on local radio station WMWV 93.5-FM's "Morning Weather Show," with a top rating of 50 cents for a bluebird day, we have had nine top-rated 50-cent daily weather ratings out of the last 11, with that trend expected to continue right on through at least until next Friday with a return if temperatures in the 80s.
