CONWAY — I moved to Center Conway just over a year ago. I knew nothing at the time about the Conways, but as with almost everyone else, I would pick up The Conway Daily Sun in town every day. There, I would find the local news, and the Community Calendar.

I saw an advertisement for The Local Bookie, a used bookstore, and I went looking. I couldn’t find it for a while — it’s a bit off the beaten track, down on West Main. I drove into the Visitor Center located on the way to the Kancamagus Highway, and both the guys who worked there knew exactly where it was.
