CONWAY — The Kennett High volleyball team had hoped to take the next step as a program this fall. Having now made three consecutive playoff appearances, but have yet to advance beyond the first round, the Eagles would like to change that. Off to an 0-4 start this fall, the girls from Conway have put playoff aspirations on the back-burner for now and are in search of that first victory, which they hope will spur a new streak.

Kennett suffered a tough home loss Monday when arch-rivals Kingswood (2-1) visited The Nest and pulled out a hard fought three setter (25-14, 25-18, 25-11).
