CONWAY — Saturday was a win-win night for Kennett Hockey. The Eagles scored a 2-0 victory over Monadnock-Fall Mountain at the Ham Ice Arena, but the win was only part of the evening. Kennett hosted its second annual “Hockey Fights Cancer Game.” All of the proceeds from the evening were donated to Jen’s Friends Cancer Foundation.
“We’re still adding things up, but it looks like we raised about $4,000,” Michael Lane, Eagles’ head coach, said. “It was a great turnout and another great response by this community.
