This Saturday, June 27, the Rufus Porter Museum of Art & Ingenuity in Bridgton will hold its first Saturday Morning Makers event. Step into the world of traditional crafts with RPM’s inaugural workshop “Handcrafting Penny Rugs” with Deb Fitts.

Whether you are an experienced crafter or entirely new to the needle, the talented Deb Fitts will guide you step-by-step through the rich history and technique of creating beautiful, traditional penny rugs. You will work alongside neighbors, enjoy a creative morning on campus, and leave with your very own handcrafted piece.
