BOSTON — The Kennett High indoor track team closed the season in style on the biggest stage in New England at the Reggie Lewis Track and Athletic Center in Boston on March 2. For the first time in Kennett indoor track history, the Eagles had a girls’ relay team compete, and they came oh-so-close to topping the school record.
One member of the team, senior Aida Wheat, broke her school record in the 55-meter dash by 1/1000th of a second.
