CONWAY — Walks will come back to haunt you almost every time. That was the case Friday when Souhegan took advantage of 14 walks, including a game-winning free pass with the bases load to knock Kennett High from the ranks of the unbeaten baseball teams in Division III. The Sabers beat the Eagles 6-5 in Amherst after the boys from Conway rallied for two runs in the top of the seventh to tie the contest.

Kennett now sits at 2-1 on the season and in a tie for fifth place with Plymouth in the standings trailing only Hollis-Brookline, 4-0; Bow, 4-0; ConVal, 3-0; John Stark, 3-0; and Lebanon, 3-1.
