CUMBERLAND, Maine — It won’t be a surprise to Bob Hodgman-Burns, varsity boys’ soccer team coach, if Greely lifts the Gold Ball this season at the Class B champs. He says the top-seeded Rangers are one of the best teams he’s seen in the division in recent years.
Greely (14-0-1) showed its championship credentials to the No. 8 seeded Raiders in the Class B South quarterfinals in Cumberland on Wednesday. The host netted five first-half goals on their way to a 6-0 win.
