FRYEBURG — The Fryeburg Academy football team remained undefeated on the season with a comfortable 34-8 victory over visiting Cape Elizabeth on Friday night.

The boys from Fryeburg rolled out some new weapons to ambush the Capers at Atwood Stadium in Fryeburg. Cape plays York next week so the Cape coaches more than likely were at York last week scouting both the Wildcats and Fryeburg. Fryeburg used a crushing ground attack to defeat York. While it was a crushing ground attack that drove the will out of Cape Elizabeth on Friday night, the Raiders proved they can display a balanced attack through the air, too.
