FRYEBURG — The Fryeburg Academy boys’ basketball team is in the thick of Western Maine Conference playoff contention approaching midseason, coming off a .500 week with a thrilling 59-54 overtime win over Lakes Region in front of the Wadsworth Arena faithful on Thursday and a 47-32 road loss at Cape Elizabeth (2-5) on Saturday.

The Raiders sit at 3-4 in Class B South.
