FRYEBURG — In a full three-game week of field hockey action for the Fryeburg Raiders (8-2-1), twice they played beyond regulation minutes in exciting homecoming matches. On Sept. 24, Lakes Region (6-4-0) scored the game’s only goal with 1:47 left in the second overtime to make their homecoming crowd happy. On Wednesday, the road warriors of Fryeburg defeated Poland (5-4-0) by 3-0 to complete a four-game road streak.

On Friday, Fryeburg’s Homecoming match was a barnburner, going two full overtimes and resulting in a 1-1 tie with Freeport (9-2-1).
