CONWAY — Organizers of this Tuesday’s Kennett High boys’ basketball program’s alumni game have a new target in their sights. They surpassed their goal of raising $5,000 to go to LUNGevity, in the name of the late Chip Kennett, who died from non-small cell lung cancer in 2015, on Thursday night.

The new goal is $7,500, according to Trevor MacDonald, who along with fellow alum Thomas Loynd came up with the idea of an alumni game with a purpose.
