FARMINGTON — Coach Jack Loynd is not one for individual accolades, so naturally, he gave all the credit to the Kennett High boys’ basketball team after it beat Coe-Brown Academy 60-56 at the 45th annual Mike Lee Holiday Basketball Bash at Farmington High School last Thursday.
The win was Loynd's 200th at KHS, and it came against the dean of New Hampshire coaches, Dan Smith. Smith is the career leader in state high school boys' basketball victories with nearly 650 wins over the last 47 years, including the past 34 on the sidelines with the Bears.
