CONCORD — The Kennett High ski jumping team turned plenty of heads on Jan. 7 when the Eagles took flight for the first time this winter. Rivals found it hard to believe it was Coach Chip Henry Flight Squad’s debut on the jumping hill at Proctor Academy in Concord.

The hometown flock soared to a second-place finish on the night.
