PLYMOUTH — Cold and flu season is here and it’s hitting the Kennett High cross-country team in a big way. The Eagles were missing more than a dozen harriers last Friday when they made the trek to Plymouth for the annual John Sanborn Invitational. Still, the KHS boys and girls managed to finish second overall in the meet.

“Everyone on the team has got it now, including me,” Bernie Livingston, Eagles’ head coach, said by phone on Monday. “It lasts about two weeks. Eileen (Livingston, his wife and assistant coach) had it last week — it’s no fun.”
