CONWAY — It was a 2-1 week for the Kennett High baseball team that ended in an exciting fashion with Nate Grames blasting a two-run walk-off home run to beat Kearsarge 10-0 on the mercy run at Robert Burns Sr. Varsity Baseball Field on Saturday afternoon.

The Eagles opened the week on May 6 with an impressive 10-1 victory over Oyster River (7-5) and its standout pitcher Owen Tonkin in Durham. KHS then dropped a close 6-2 contest at home to Bow (8-1) on Wednesday.
