FRYEBURG — The Fryeburg Academy golf team will get the honor of opening the 2024-25 sports season for the Raiders this fall. Coach Chris Dutton’s squad is scheduled to tee it high and let it fly against Gray-New Gloucester and Poland on Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. at the Spring Meadows Golf Course in Gray, Maine.

With just over a week of preseason, the Raiders have been fine-tuning their games with practice at the Lake Kezar Country Club in Lovell, Maine. Given the quick start to the season, Dutton is happy to have four of his six starters back in the fold this year.
