CONWAY — The Kennett High football team improved to 3-0 in Division II with an impressive 40-6 victory over Merrimack Valley in Penacook on Saturday afternoon. The Eagles spoiled the Pride’s Homecoming with a dominating defensive effort and an opportunistic offense.
At 3-0, the Eagles head into Homecoming Week themselves and will likely face their stiffest test to date when two-time defending champs Plymouth (2-1) visit Gary Millen Stadium on Friday (7 p.m.). It may be the biggest game the KHS has hosted in the past few years.
