CONWAY — The Kennett High boys’ lacrosse team is playing its best at the right time of the season. The Eagles went 2-1 last week to keep their faint playoff hopes alive heading into the final quarter of the regular season.

KHS opened the week with a thrilling 9-8 home victory over Merrimack Valley on May 6; fell 15-5 at top-ranked and undefeated Portsmouth on Wednesday; and closed out the week with a convincing 16-7 win against visiting Spaulding at The Bridge field.
