FRYEBURG, Maine — In celebration of the nation's 250th anniversary, the town of Fryeburg has a week of festivities planned called “Once Upon A Fryeburg,” which kicks off this Sunday and runs through June 27.

Town officials, along with the Fryeburg Historical Society and Fryeburg Public Library, have been planning “Once Upon A Fryeburg” for more than a year and have a schedule filled with tours, talks, games, entertainment, food and fireworks.
