CONWAY — The Kennett High boys’ basketball team jumped out to an 11-0 lead in the opening two minutes and 13 seconds against rival Plymouth and never looked back, cruising to a 69-38 victory at the Peter Ames Gymnasium on Friday night. All 11 Eagles got into the scorebook and senior Jackson Gordon gave his teammates and the Bleacher Creatures plenty to cheer about when he capped the win with a thunderous slam dunk.
“I wish they were all this stressful,” Jack Loynd, Eagles’ head coach, said following the win. “We played well.”
