WOLFEBORO — The Kennett High hockey team kicked off the new year the same way the Eagles ended 2023 — on a winning note. KHS rallied from a first-period deficit to top rival Kingswood 3-1 at the Pop Whalen Arena on Wednesday night.

The win lifted Kennett to 2-2 in Division III play and to 5-2 overall on the winter. The Eagles currently sit in a tie for fourth in the league table with defending state champs Belmont-Gilford.
