CONWAY — The Kennett High boys’ basketball team ran into the No. 1 ranked team in the Division II standings when ConVal visited the Peter Ames Gymnasium on Friday night. The undefeated Cougars left town with a 62-42 victory and snapped the previously third-ranked Eagles’ win streak at five games.

The loss dropped Kennett to 6-2 on the season in Division II, and saw the hometown flock fall to sixth in the standings.
