STAMFORD, Conn. — The Mount Washington Valley U13-16 baseball team wrapped up its amazing summer on the diamond by representing New Hampshire at the New England Babe Ruth Regional Championships in Stamford, Conn., last week. The Granite State champs, who were 13-0 going into the tournament, went 0-3 in the Nutmeg State.

“We were by far the youngest team there,” said Coach Josh McAllister. “We don’t have a single 16-year-old on the team, while all the other teams were predominantly made up by 16-year-olds. When we played Taunton, Mass., everyone was going into their junior year and most of the guys were 17.”
