It was terrific to see Justin Rose in the winner’s circle at the FedEx St. Jude Championship in Memphis, Tenn., last Sunday afternoon. He became the oldest player from Europe to win on the PGA Tour in the modern era at the age of 45. Rose made two birdies in a playoff against U.S. Open champion J.J. Spaun to win the title on the 21st hole.

Rose made six birdies over the last eight holes he played, the last one a 10-foot putt on the 18th on the third playoff hole.
