Ninety hungry Nordic ski enthusiasts crowded into Jackson Ski Touring Lodge for a Jan. 18 potluck. There was no shortage of good food and excitement as Nordics gathered to meet friends, share home-cooked fare and talk about forming a valley-wide Nordic Club.

Colin Pogue, a 28-year-old enthusiastic skier, racer and Jackson ski coach, led the discussion. He invited a “who’s who” of Mount Washington Valley Nordic skiers to discuss the local Nordic club’s past history and hopes to revive that Nordic club concept. Colin was asking for support from the community to make that happen.
