FRYEBURG — In a tale of two halves at Wadsworth Gymnasium last Friday night, the Fryeburg Academy boys’ basketball team dug a deep 31-16 halftime deficit before rallying valiantly, but a little too late, against visiting York in a 54-49 loss.

The guest Wildcats (11-5) used some sharp three-point shooting and the instant offense generated from turnovers with their full court press, particularly in a 16-5 second period, to take command and make things look bleak for the Raiders at halftime.
