Last Saturday (Nov. 2), I headed over to Bridgton, Maine, for the Moose Pond Half Marathon starting at Shawnee Peak Ski Area. It was a perfect blue-bird day, cool and the wind had stopped from the previous day. There was a tree half down on the course and many runners and volunteers reported being without power, but it didn’t stop the energy of the day.

There was the half, a relay and a 5K.
