Good things come to those who wait. I’m sure Tommy Fleetwood didn’t want that wait to take 164 tournaments to get his first PGA Tour victory, but the first win was a big one. Fleetwood played spectacular golf over four rounds to win the end-of-the-season FedEx Cup. The 34-year-old Englishman, who has seven victories on the Europe-based DP World Tour, took the greens at the East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta by storm to win the Tour Championship and take a $10 million check back across the pond. He posted a winning score of 262 (-18).
The championship win was the most-watched non-major of the 2025 season. According to Golf Digest, “NBC reported an average of 4.491 million viewers during the latter stages of Sunday's final round, up 34 percent from the same window during last year's Tour Championship, which saw 3.358 million tune in.”
