It looks like March is going to come in like a lion. Snow, sleet and rain. With this beginning can anglers plan for the end of March to leave like a lamb? Forever hopeful, that is the plan of this angler. With only one month before open-water fishing begins in earnest, the final push in preparedness is on!

The first order of business is to finish tying flies and filling fly boxes. With the cold long winter, this angler is ahead of where the fly boxes were a year ago but still behind in the goal of tying all of the Bergman patterns that use palmering for the hackle. The Cupsuptic just came off the vise —23 more letters in the alphabet to go.
