Musings and observations while waiting for the ice to leave local trout ponds and the start of serious fishing.

Tuesday was a day to drive around and access ice conditions on local lakes and ponds. First stop was Silver Lake as the landlock salmon fishing opened and perhaps there was enough open water to make a few casts.
