It has been 20 years since Conway’s Erik Corbett first competed in the Boston Marathon at the age of 25 on a pushrim wheelchair.

Growing up in Methuen, Mass., Erik was very familiar with that famous race. Several years after the 2000 car accident that left him with a T7 spinal cord injury, paralyzing him from the waist down, Erik decided he wanted to enter the 2005 race.
