Following a right-to-know request to Conway Town Hall by the Sun having to do with the resignations of two selectmen, Town Manager John Eastman would not confirm if the resignations were related but did say that complaints surrounding personnel issues resulted in an investigation. The request stated the Sun understands a law firm was retained to investigate allegations involving sexual harassment. Eastman declined to offer more information, saying the matter is “confidential in nature” and any report has attorney-client privilege.

This week’s Tele-Talk question is: Should Town Hall divulge when a law firms or outside company is hired to investigate personnel complaints at Town Hall?
