The New Hampshire House is considering a number of bills that would limit gun possession in schools, close a loophole for sales at gun shows and impose a seven-day waiting period for firearms and ammunition purchases. Advocates of the bills say they will make schools safer and deter gun violence generally. Those opposed to the bills say they would limit the rights of citizens and would not make schools or people people any safer.
