Bartlett selectmen are asking Gov. Chris Sununu to temporarily ban short-term rentals in New Hampshire due to the COVID-19 virus. They hope he approves an order similar to what Vermont Gov. Phil Scott did Monday when he ordered all lodging, including hotels, Airbnb and campgrounds in that state to suspend operations. "Our concern is that not only are the non-residents overburdening our pharmacies, grocery stores and other essential services, but perhaps soon our hospitals and emergency response teams will be overwhelmed as well,” wrote selectmen.

This week’s Tele-Talk question: Do you support banning short-term rentals due to COVID-19?
