To the editor:On Saturday, May 5, 25 volunteers from Girl Scout Troop 2490, Kingswood Regional High School Close-Up Project, the First Congregational Church of Ossipee Youth Group, and the Ossipee Garden Club helped clean up the Constitution Park and trails in Ossipee as well as the Main Street target area. These groups did a wonderful job of sprucing up these areas for summer use.After the cleanup, the volunteers were treated to lunch, put on by the Kingswood Regional High School Close-Up Project, with delicious donations from Subway Restaurant and the Whittier House Restaurant of West Ossipee.In previous years, the Ossipee Recreation Department and the Ossipee Main Street Program hosted cleanup projects on different days. This years joint cleanup was a big success, with more people involved.
