To the editor:

There is an epidemic happening that seems to only be getting worse every day. The cutting down of our forests at blinding speed. Not just a tree here or there, but hundreds of acres at a time. As if they are something that is an endless resource. Forests have been in decline for a long time now, and regrowth is not what it used to be.
