I am glad that letter writer Harry Melanson found three mistakes made by presidential hopeful Kamala Harris. Pointing out possible errors in what candidates say may help them adjust their policies.

Biden has a war on oil? On what planet is that? On THIS planet, we're fracking more than ever before, and we are actually energy independent now, not because there was a pandemic that caused demand to drop dramatically, but because we're actually producing more energy than we're using. All you MAGA cult members that kept trying to give Trump credit for his temporary blip of energy independence because of the pandemic he was in the process of mishandling in epic fashion don't seem to either be aware of the facts of our energy situation (shocking), or your just trying to ignore the inconvenient fact that Biden has once again outperformed Trump, just like with the stock market, unemployment, foreign relations, effective leadership (the list goes on and on).

Trump is an exaggerator. I have read many of these "fact check" columns and I often find them misleading, biased, or just logically inconsistent. When Trump does exaggerate, he is making a point. He isn't the most eloquent speaker or have all the precise facts at his fingertips, but he does generally call things like he sees them, and he is often right.
I guess Kamala won't appear to be lying as much when she simply doesn't take questions or speak to the press. She never faces hostile questions, and even the softballs she is shoveled by her adoring fans in the media, she wiffs.
While lying and exaggerating are not good behaviors, I'd much rather have a capitalist in the White House than a Socialist. And when it comes to lies, I believe Kamala's core values haven't changed. What her aides are saying now as her new policies are all lies. She hasn't changed her stripes. She is still to the Far Left, further than even Socialist Bernie Sanders.
The difference between Trump and Kamala is that Trump tells far fewer lies about his policies, which is what really matters. He demonstrated his positions as president and most Americans want to go back to his policies rather than those of Biden-Harris.
The lengths you are willing to go to distort the truth about Donald Trump is phenomenal. Trump’s entire life is one big lie. You are complicit in his telling of it.
I was not a Trump supporter when he first ran, but he governed well, generally, and I can overlook his many idiosyncrasies. Regardless of his personal faults, his policies are so much better than the Democratic Far Left (as Joe Biden and Harris have governed) that it isn't even a close call.
Look at what Harris has come out with. Price controls for groceries? Are you kidding me?

Harris is not seeking "price controls", she's trying to help the American middle class not get gouged on pricing in grocery stores and on pharmaceuticals. Just like Biden as a Senator helped us by stopping the credit card companies from gouging us on fees. Just like Trump helped us on...oh wait, he's never helped anyone but himself.
