Sounds like Hamas' surprise attack on October 7th hasn't worked out too well for their supporters and enablers. Maybe the people should turn the terrorist leaders and fighters over to the IDF, and return all hostages, and then the assault would immediately stop. Oh wait, it is the terrorists that hide under schools and hospitals, embedded within their civilian population. That does not seem to be such a smart strategy anymore. You sir, are woefully misinformed. The Knesset in Israel just clarified their position: they will not under any circumstances accept a two-state solution. Your comment about things working out for Hamas's supporters and enablers is quite revealing. Leaving aside the obvious ignorance and racism in the implication that every man, woman in child in Gaza is actually Hamas and somehow had it coming; it clearly shows that you have no idea what you are talking about. Netanyahu and Hamas are just opposite sides of the same hand. Bibi himself has stated how important it is for Hamas to be strong because it splits Palestine and weakens the Palestinian Authority and Fatah. Isreal has controlled the resources, lives, and movement of everyone in Gaza. Its funny how every time a viable party emerges to challenge Hamas in Gaza, they end up in an Israeli jail (torture camp). Netanyahu has no interest in getting the hostages back. Don't believe me? Ask the families of the hostages, who have been protesting relentlessly in Israel for Bibi to finally accept a deal to return the hostages. It is amusing how vehemently people will defend Israel and deny any of their atrocities, when Israel itself will gladly admit to them. Tune in sometime to Haaretz or read the Jerusalem Post. For your information, the schools that have been bombed recently were safe zones set up by the IDF for civilians in Gaza. They tell people to go to the school, bomb them, and say "oh well, Hamas." You would think with all that fancy gadgetry that they get from us that they could verify if it was a school or a "Hamas stronghold" before telling people to go there. I wonder what your thoughts are on the West Bank. To be clear, West Band = no Hamas. That doesn't stop Israel from stealing their homes and land and handing it over to the illegal settlements. It doesn't stop Israel from killing civilians (an American was just shot by the IDF in the West Bank). But, Hamaaaaaaas! To be clear, I do not support Hamas. They are just one of many results of Israel's illegal policy of settler-colonialism. Free Palestine.
There is absolutely no moral justification for Hamas to have taken any hostages, let alone brutalize thousands of Israeli civilians on October 7th. They have whatever is coming to them for that, end of story.
Your position might be defensible if Hamas either surrender and released all the hostages, or if the civilian population turned the terrorists in and released the hostages. Since neither has happened, I guess the IDF will have to clean out the rats nest.

If the Knesset "just" clarified their position, perhaps it was because of the massacre on October 7th? I don't blame the Israelis if peace is now off the table. How can they make peace with terrorists? But the Biden/US position is a two-state solution, so maybe Hamas should try that if they want to avoid annihilation.
