To the editor:

The stay-at-home order needs to be in place until the end of May. No campgrounds open this year. No hotels this year.

I believe that it would be totally unfair to have a blanket exclusion of campers. Some of us own our park model homes.

There could be a vetting solution. I personally would be coming from a county of 160,000 people with less tha 100 cases. And I would still agree to a 2 week quarantine. Many of us have been what has supported the local economy for years. We are quite responsible and just wish to enjoy our summer homes.

34 known cases with approximately 55,000 in Carroll County. So, similar numbers here. A self-contained park model is not much different than other seasonal dwellings; the park model should be treated similar.
