To the editor:

We may be saying goodbye to the democracy established 250 years ago. Our imperfect democratic process has elected a narcissistic fool for president whose only real accomplishment has been to be a thorough fraud for his entire life. More importantly, this democracy elected Republican majorities in both the House and Senate, which have proven to be sycophantic cowards who have abandoned their role as a check on the most outrageous abuse of presidential power the nation has seen in its first 250 years.
