To the editor:

My name is Scott Fields, and I am running for the open seat on the Bartlett School Board. When my family moved to Intervale seven years ago, we made the decision to reside in this area specifically because we loved everything that Josiah Bartlett Elementary School had to offer. It seemed like the perfect school for our young children. There were beloved longtime teachers, fun extracurricular activities and in every source we researched, JBES had some of the highest ratings for an elementary school in N.H. However, since then, there have been many changes and our school needs help recovering from this decline.
