To the editor,
In response to George Clausen's letter from Oct. 15.
In 2020, Trump's buzzword was "liberals."
In 2024, it was "socialists."
And now, in 2026, it's "communists."
Vladimir Putin is a communist. As is China's leader, Xi Jinping, and yet Trump continues to curry their favor while turning his back on Ukraine. Ukraine is a country fighting to save democracy.
There are no significant numbers or percentages of Democrats who are communists. Check these facts yourselves.
On Nov. 3, vote for truth.
