To the editor:

At Sunday’s candidates forum at the Moultonborough Function Hall, Republican Rep. Karel Crawford, a 14-year veteran of the House, made a stunning confession: Her legislative focus has been Moultonborough, where she also serves as a selectman. Tamworth and Madison, she conceded, have pretty much not been on her radar. You could hear jaws hit the tables. A woman in the audience couldn’t stay silent: “But you do! You do represent those towns!”
